  3. Tacked the panels I made with the MIG, then O/A the rest. Cleaned it up then hammer finished the welds. I'm stoked with the results

  4. Weather has been cold, an is cold! I started making the lower rear valances. I was looking at Cody's 59 wagon. He made some amazing lwr valances. I'm going to have to get creative, to make the compound curves in the corner. Fun-fun

I need a good pressurized media blaster.. that will last!! I've been searching online, walnut blasting seems to be the ticket

  5. Sun goes down, an any an all warmth goes with it. Getting the lwr valances done.

Wear all black clothes to absorb the sun. Stand on sheets of card board or old carpets. Park a beater near by to block any wind. HOODIES!

  8. Thanks Mr.Jim! Not bad for my first time. An I think gas welding is cool.. Hahaha

Thermal undergarments help a lot, too!

Yep. I wear under amour and thermals. We got a major load of Snow and the single digits at night now. Got to mail ya something this next week, JJ!

  10. Mid thirties at night here. I shouldn't be complaining, it could be colder. Man, I hope you're not going out of your way on my acct.

  11. More of the same, today. Everything was frozen when I went outside, this morning.

Keeping things lined up, as I welded on the flange. I'm stoked with the results!

  15. The other night I started working, on the driverside corner stainless molding. It's coming along. Still needs some attention before polishing.

Added flanges where the valances meet the qtrs, then added some quick tabs to
hold em in place. Not before I cleaned the area, so I could gas weld the things up.

Started stripping the psngr qtr, inside an out. Undercoating's gone, and the damage is starting to come out.
