I have created Warp Drive Engines. I will be selling them as soon as I have the machining perfected and I can use Chevy Seals in the Warp Plasma Conduits. Oh yeah, one more thing is I will spend money advertising and I promise to offer Warp Speed for anyone and their Hotrods in a couple of months... I PROMISE

as fancy as aluminum is, it seems iron causes less drama.

I will jump in as I have seen several flathead aluminum blocks in the LA area. Here are some photos. What am I missing? I know this is an old thread but someone is making them without the Ardun Heads. Ferguson?

Smartazz sarcasm seems so appropriate in this day and age.

-Shadow Rods original cost of reverse engineering the Ford Flathead block
    was almost $50,000.
That first 50 G's supplied a blueprint -more or less- And that was all.

Then the real work began on figuring out how to update and advance the original Flathead design, as well as how to cast the new parts.

As far as I know, a marketable/updated V8 is still in the works but these things take time and cost huge money.

-If you are not happy with their progress why don't You put up your first $50,000 and have a blueprint made via reverse engineering a Flathead Block?

Or just shut up and quiet with the sarcasm, bitching, whining and complaining.

I have been waiting for 1 of these aluminum flatheads for my dragster build . I bet I will see current photos of the Un-Certain T before these blocks are released.

For those of you who don’t seem to understand my Sarcasm… Let me explain since you don’t seem to get it.

• I AM AND HAVE BEEN IN THE MARKET WITH CASH READY IN MY POCKET TO MAKE A PURCHASE OF TWO OF THESE BLOCKS!
• If they had them ready now I would make a purchase now!
• I have inquired to them on several occasions in email each time they stating for one reason or another block is not ready.
• I don’t like wasting hours and days of my time on the Net looking through websites ready to make a purchase when they say its available and it’s not.
• I do this for a living. I have customers who want this block and it’s not available. I don’t have time wasting my time searching on a website, and then having to email only to find out the BLOCKS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.

My point… If you spend a bunch of time advertising, hyping up your product for free on the forums. Your Website says it’s available. You provide dates it’s going to be available. Then it should be available shouldn’t it? WELL SHOULDN’T IT? WELL? I’m still waiting for your answer?

Here is the website link: http://www.motorcityspeedequipment.com/content.asp?page_id=newblock
And I quote: “Through a combined effort of Motor City and Shadow Rods it’s finally here. A new state of the art Flathead Engine block.”

If this block is not available then you should update your website, and the forums, any advertising, etc… stating that you don’t have it available instead of wasting peoples time tricking them, lying to them to get them to your website. This is total Bullshit and is false advertising. Where is the fucking product? I have my money ready now! Where is the product? They still haven’t updated their website years later. They don’t have the block and never will. This is a lie. They need to quit misleading people. False advertising or their too fucking lazy or cheap to update their website. Update the fucking website!

So Moefuzz, since you obviously don’t get what I’m saying you are not even in the right ballpark, clueless.
Let me respond to each of your points to see if you can get what I’m saying:

• Shadow Rods original cost of reverse engineering the Ford Flathead block
was almost $50,000. That first 50 G's supplied a blueprint -more or less- And that was all.
o SO WHAT? THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! Where is the block? It’s ready isn’t it?, Why can’t I buy it?, Have you seen it? HAVE YOU SEEN IT? HAVE YOU PURCHASED ONE? WELL, HAVE YOU?

• Then the real work began on figuring out how to update and advance the original Flathead design, as well as how to cast the new parts.
o SO WHAT? THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! Where is the block? It’s ready isn’t it?, Why can’t I buy it?, Have you seen it? HAVE YOU SEEN IT? HAVE YOU PURCHASED ONE? WELL, HAVE YOU?

• As far as I know, (THE WHOLE POINT AS FAR AS YOU KNOW?)(DO YOU SPEAK FOR THEM?)a marketable/updated V8 is still in the works but these things take time and cost huge money.
o SO WHAT? THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! Where is the block? It’s ready isn’t it?, Why can’t I buy it?, Have you seen it? HAVE YOU SEEN IT? HAVE YOU PURCHASED ONE? WELL, HAVE YOU?

• If you are not happy with their progress why don't you put up your first $50,000 and have a blueprint made via reverse engineering a Flathead Block?
o I inquired and I’m willing to take over the project and put up the money but no response, just continuing lies and deceit.

• Or just shut up and quiet with the sarcasm, bitching, whining and complaining.

Your another fucking idiot who doesn’t get it, clueless dumb fuck. IF you haven’t figured it out yet the whole point of this is either put up or shut up… if you have the product then it should be available if you don’t and say you do then you’re a liar… if you don’t have the product available then update you’re fucking website and the forums and quit misleading people.
Fucking Idiot, Tard

    Dude!
That's pretty harsh for an fng. You have a beef with being unable to buy what you want. This isn't a forum for your frustration with others. Chill out, re-invest your money for two and by the time they're ready, you can buy three.

I understood your frustration until the last paragraph, and the last line.
If somebody called me a clueless dumb fuck, in person, or as an internet badass, I'd take it very personal.

I saw the aluminum block a few years back and the latest I heard was that they had one in a car and were testing it out on a road trip. When you called about information on it did you speak with Mark Kirby? The old Motor City Flathead site hasn't been updated in a long time. Call Shadow Rods and ask for Mark. Give it a try.

Settle down John, holy shit! Moefuzz is a long time and well respected member here. Jumping HIS shit gets a lot of US riled up.

If you do this for a living and have been ready to buy two of these for YEARS how long have those customers cars been sitting in your shop waiting?
