I think its a German Ford.

 

The Pike as it was back then is no longer. They brought the name back when they rebuilt the area and called it, but it is not the same. Back then it was an amusement park with games, rides and attractions. Today it is a collection of pubs, bars, restaurants and a movie theater.

 

I had one of these Subaru 360s in the mid 80s. It had a rear mounted two cylinder two-stroke engine and was an absolute BLAST to drive but dangerous as hell in traffic!

The very first drive-in movies I remember with mom, dad, and little brother they did not have separate car speakers. Just a few bull horn type hanging from trees or poles.
By the time I got my first car, 49 Dodge, drive-in movies were part of my life.

I would compare the pike back in the day to a modern day small county fair,
except it was open all year round.

 

Yep!--My memories of the "pike" was during WWII when it was flooded with servicemen looking for a fun time!
On the "Cyclone" roller coaster there was a sign at the top that warned you to stay seated,---One time a sailor didn't---wiped out from the sign!!!
One of my favorite things was to try & shoot the ace of spades card logo out with 5 shots into a barrel (air gun).---Found out later the sights were intentionly out of adjustment!---Oh well, live & learn at 15!!!

Thanks Eddie. I'll post some more. Not to many are car related but there are a few good road trip and Northwest camping photos. My parents liked to get out.

Luckily I know who the past owners of my Studebakers are. The Cruiser was purchased new by my uncle. Even though I don't wonder is a car seen here is in my garage I do WISH that many were in my garage.
