That truck left me spellbound the first time i saw it in a rodding mag. That picture doesn't do it any justice. From what i remember the roof had a slight rake to it along with many other cool mods. The colours used and the stripping are just 100% my thing. The interior engine bay etc etc are just as well done. What i'd do for a truck like that, lucky guy.

Edit.... Or the one above, red oxide finish is a great look and pulled off nicely.

Need to stop looking at this thread now, yet another space i'll need in my dream garage

Do it!! I****ume the section on the front end would come above the fenders. I think it would be pretty cool.

Yeah that green apache i posted has a lot more done to it than youd think. Including a slightly raked chop thats very subtle. Adams rotors, your truck is sick. Whered you get the classic blinds for the rear window ?

This was perpetually "in progress" until I got smashed on the highway. Now I'm in the middle of the rebuild and it will be getting the full treatment.

  11. Nice 37 K13! Yes the section will be at the bottom of the hood / top of the aprons. I may do a wedge section on the hood. I have the 47 olds hood and would like to use the front section.
I'm a little surprised at the lack of opinions on this. This is the HAMB right? :D

Thanks. Haha I guess they are too busy complaining about some of the most iconic customs trucks of all time being ugly to contribute:rolleyes:.

  16. Nice stuff! Even the over the top ones! Seems I remember seeing a 55-7 chev. sectioned enough to line up the cab and rear fender lines. Anyone have a shot of that?

  21. not sure if mine counts, the stance has a mild tail-dragger feel (no air bags)

Carbed 87, that stance is very similar to how i want my apache to sit. And i love the dash or lack thereof in mountain pearl. I like how you can see the whole firewall, very unique almost like a vw bus

This is similar to what youre talking about tinbender. A bit more extreme. He also eliminated the side steps in front of the rear fenders
