Miss North Shore (Marian Heinz, age 17) stands alongside a 1951 Willys Jeep station wagon. Willys began to produce vehicles for the civilian market soon after World War II, with the station wagons debuting in 1946.

Miss Garfield Park (Sophie Max, age 21) and a 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook convertible coupe were photographed together on a turntable display. Plymouths underwent a modest facelift for 1951, but was still offered only with a six-cylinder engine, and no automatic or semi-automatic transmission were available.

Miss Uptown (Sally O'Neil, age 18) poses alongside a 1951 Buick Roadmaster convertible at Buick's display area on the show floor. Facelifted for 1951, wearing a smaller grille than in 1950, Buicks had straight-eight engines. Most Buicks were equipped with GM's Dynaflow automatic transmission.

  19. No Ryan is not doing anything. However, I have to admit I'm a bit stumped. I am copying and pasting from an album, they show up and then when I click into them it say's" invalid something or other. I'm not that computer saavy to know what is up or if I am doing something wrong. Im seeing the pictures though......and you are seeing nothing? Weird.

  20. Dadbud, I mostly agree with you but sooner or later while working down those gorgeous legs those feet are gonna come into play and that's when you hear the needle rip across the record:eek:

  21. Sorry, workng on it . I can rebuild a carb though.......jeez, I hate computers.

I can't take it anymore :) Since no one is going to tell you what to do, here is the answer : you cannot copy and paste photos to these threads. Open an account at a photohosting site like photobucket and upload your pictures to it.
Then open the window to make a post and click on the icon that says "insert image" Copy and paste the image code (IMG) into that space.
Preview your post and the photo should show up. Good luck!

Or you can post photos even easier by simply scrolling down when making a post to the "additional options" area. Click on the box that says "manage attachments". A new window will open with 7 boxes under the line that says "upload file from your computer". Click on the "browse" button. A directory of your computer will open. Find the file you want to upload and click on it. Once you've found all the files you wish to post click on the "upload" button at the far right. There are some file size limitations but in more cases you'll see yor files listed as "current attachments". The photos will then load as thumbnails in your posts.

It is a quick way to post photos if you don't want to use photobucket or other such service. Photobucket produces a better results but if you're not computer handy the above way works just fine.
