I got my 48 Plymouth coupe on the road in April. Put about 4,000 miles on it this summer. In about a month it coming back in to get some more stuff fixed that was ignored so I could drive it through the summer.
Been in process for 2 years, junk coupe body on a Dakota frame means a lot of effort, but not exactly HAMB friendly. The car is suppose to represent an early 60s dirt track racer. Had a number done with a black marker last summer, more body work and maybe fresh paint for this year, maybe. Gene

Not complete but finally got my Henry 5-window running and driving after about 4 years. Went through 2 Taylor-Vertex HEI distributors in a month. Been getting the run around from Taylor-Vertex since August 2012, not sure when it will run again. Taylor-Vertex says they are working on new prototypes but not very hard.

Yes, 7 yrs later is on the road. I'll take some pictures soon. I have a Rod Shop guy near me he got the timing & 700R4 issues straighten out. OMG does it run, I think it now needs POSI rear. He was driving it around for a couple weeks I just need to fix a couple of paint divets and realigned the hood.

Technically it hit the road in the summer of 2011:

    Not without some trials . . .

    But LOTS of smiles . . .

But it made it's official debut in the spring of 2012 with it's fresh tuck & roll:

But they're never really "done." The flatty gave up the ghost in the fall, so it'll be getting a fresh rebuild . . . with a few goodies this winter. ;)
