    It's a bummer to see that nothing much has changed on mine since I posted those pictures.

    Here's mine! Admittedly there are some things I would like to change, but my grandpa and I built it and it is a blast to drive.

    But you are working on it even if it doesn't much look like it. The only change mine has made since I posted pictures of it in the "Who's Building a T" thread is all the stuff packed around it in the garage. But that is about to change, signing escrow papers for my new place tomorrow. Has a bigger garage, and space for a dedicated garage/ shop, coming this summer.

    Really want to build one of these, but I have an Overland body. More solid than a T, and doors on both sides.

  14. Hey Keep, I just browsed your build pics. Those are awesome man! They could be a pictorial step by step how too. I'm sure we'll be referring to them often as my boy and I build his Bucket. Anyway, thanks for sharing them.

    I was up for New Years (in Nephi) but came to West Jordan to see my kids. Was up again the following Friday to help my daughter move to South Jordan.

    Seems like when I'm up there I'm always racing against the clock. I need to plan a few leisurely days this summer and hang out with you guys!

    The wife's T is coming along pretty well, we hope to drive it to GNRS in June. You and the wife should join us!

    haha thanks. Most of those were for me to remember how I did things in the first place! They come in handy when you tear things apart and forget how things went back together.

    Birdog, congrats on the little one! Too bad you'll miss some of the summer's events, but you won't think twice once the baby is here. You and the missus will be great parents and will have a lot of family time to hot rod in the future. We'll catch up soon!

  30. That's the Paul Schiefer 1925 T Roadster. Those aren't brake backing plates; probably streamlining discs made of aluminum.

    Schiefer installed a Chrysler wavy axle that was reamed to accept Ford spindles -- there were no brakes on the front. He either had single pot hydraulic brakes, or mechanicals to the back only. Throughout the life of this car, it used that Chrysler wavy axle and usually had those discs.

    The rearend was built by Bob Bubenik in Schiefer's shop as a "front-end quickchange". Some old-timers say it was a Model A rearend, but it had the '35 and later style spring set up, with wishbones that were cut away, moved inboard and welded onto the axle housings. I understand Schiefer later switched to a Hallibrand quickchange.

    Schiefer used the car as a mule for performance parts. Thanks to Kustomrama a great deal of this car's history has been put in one place;
