Can a Model A gasser have a chopped top or does it have to be stock bodied?

SPORK. I'm pretty sure a gas class car could be chopped a maximum of 4"

 

No more than 4" between chop and channel from stock.

I was going to buy this car. It was sooo bitchin. Stroked, Hilborn injected Olds. Hydro. Olds rear. It was a rad orange color.

I gathered the $$, went to get it and he had painted it that hideous red. Terrible paint job. Ruined the car for me. Said he thought if it had new paint on it, more people would be interested in buying it.

I think the asking price was $5500.

I think it went back east.

 

I know it's really an Altered car but the local track wanted it as a Gassa
