Just wondering if anyone has seen this little jigger - The Holden Torana GTR-X that was shown in 1970. It never went into production and only came with a 186 cube straight six but it certainly had all the lines for 43 years ago. Original Pixs on the Parts Box site.

Here's a couple more from the City of Vancouver Archives, ironically, they are actually advertising a fundraising dance, in the community that I live in now, although it has had a name change since then. Town of Haney, became City of Maple Ridge.

I will have to say I have never seen anyone put a clamp on roof rack on a convertible before. The Buick at the bottom of the picture is a ragtop with a top rack.

Caught "Operation Petticoat" on the TV. It's stone quiet as all the nurses board until a sailor drop a wrench with a huge bang. Then the old Chief deadpans: "If any of ya wonder what yer fightin' for, there's yer answer!" One of my favorite movie lines and this photo nails it!
