Seafarers were "aftermarket" not govt issue. Govt issue had button fly's, Seafarers had zippers and the bell bottoms were more exaggerated.

 

I would very much like to know more about her!

 

My guess she is ~ mid-late 60's, Somebody's Grandma and her assets are now fully exposed.

 

A couple of these are in my intro, but it's been a while, so here's my Dad posed up on his '50 Olds.

 

I gotta agree, they certainly do! I bought 3 pairs at the BX in Taipei, Taiwan, 1969 for 4 bucks a pair, wish I still had 'em, even though I couldn't get 'em on!

 

Had a pair back in the day, but i was too used to Levi's to ever wear them much.

Here's some interesting pics from the City of New Westminster, BC. waterfront. I work very near where these pics are taken, on an island in the middle of the river. Most of this area is now condos and a very upscale hotel/casino.
