What is this place that has the 6 poles? They look like rockets taking off!

 

If this is the building i am thinking about it was still there the last time I was in the area around 6 years ago.

 

I think it still looks the about the same,its been about 10 years since I was last through the town.

 

Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Built in 1958 and designed by Welton Becket.

Looks more like a fan to me. Maybe it's some guys idea of a limosine. Or a sightseeing rig. Not an R V. Looks like it's painted with aluminum paint. Very poor choice.

 

Yep!---If you were first in line at the signal----You would know when it was going to change,---The mechinism made so much noise you could get a "Jump start"!!!!

I witnessed this happen to me so many times in my youth.

Not funny.

Although, I did laff my azz off!

 

The Adventures of The Abernathy Kids: These two boys (aged ten and six) supposedly alone rode their ponies from OK to NYC in 1910. They then drove a Brush car back home alone.
