  1. On the note of "Inspiration"..... This is obviously a Tidwell inspired piece!
Just got this worked up last night. Need to head back in a few weeks for the final shading and chrome details in the V8 emblem. Hope y'all dig it!

Thank you! I have searched around where I live and I haven't really found any other gals that work on their own old cars, a few that drive them once in a while, but they either pay someone else or have their boyfriends do the work. Which is all well and good, to each their own, (I don't know why they wouldn't want to get in on the fun) but with a market of primarily men into a certain craft or trade, it's hard to get any hot rod or gear head stuff that's for women other than the odd shop in town that prints their logo on a pink shirt and calls it a day. Which is why I'm going with this idea and I'm going to start making shirts and signs and such. I'm just hoping I can do it all justice. I know that there are plenty of other females into this stuff, even though they might not be in my town, but if nothing else, it'll be fun!

I absolutely love your art, especially the galaxie, thanks for sharing!

  4. Those are awesome! That is beyond cool.

  5. Great stuff again this week; some really nice different art;...a few more old trucks this week...

  9. Our moderator must be away from his desk this week end...

Here's on for the new girl, it's an old one from me. I posted it on my Art-N-Motion page on FB the other day and was thinking I really should follow up on this one and finish it in large living color...

"Not the fastest or the Slowest" '64 Mercury Marauder.

And how about another, more recent, big Ford...

Great work, everybody_ here are some more of my water colors - a piece from way back on the old McMullen Roadster, called "Highboy" - big Ford in a junk yard, called "A Galaxie Far Far Away" - and a 56 Dodge, called "Coronet"
    Thanks,
    Dan

It's not new rendering but it's nice to see final result of John 'D Agostinos Oz Kustoms built 1940 Cadillac "Sophia". I'm able to see only pics this time, but if you have possibility go to GNRS in Pomona this weekend:
