Stewart Warner Survey Speedometer

    Look at this beautiful speedometer that I just found. Iam hoping to put it in my 34 roadster project. I would like to know if anyone knows what the origonal application would have been. never have seen one with the 1/100 of a mile meter.

    From a time when roads were greatly expanding. Maybe somethin to do with it? It's a nice piece.

    Good chance they were produced for and used by road depts. to set accurate mileage on roads.

    Nice....I'd guess part of the bicycle wheel apparatus that use to be attached to the rear of a subject car. Style is certainly vintage, but calibration gearing may be a challenge
