This will be interesting to watch, can't wait!

I've got to ask, your 6'1" -6'2' right?

    Design features include:
A hole in the firewall for your feet.
A seat mounted between the frame rails to keep the bugs out of you teeth using the Duvall or you have to lay way back (land luge)?

Just kidding, I'm sure it will be cool!

6'5" to be exact, and most of it's in my legs! It will be a dropped floorpan, unitized body/frame car... update coming soon... Lots of work done, not enough pics taken though. If I have a tiny bit of luck she might be a roller by tmw evening!

I'm so psyched on this thing! Been poring over pics of my favorite track nosed cars for ideas... Barney's T has the best nose profile...

    Thanks for the clarification!

Yes that nose is right for the roadster, the rake is an important factor with that look too.

I like the track nose on Barney's T too. I think it flows well with the low belly pan.

Can't wait to check this out Andy. Maybe I'll luck out and pit right across from you guys again this year at Bonneville so I can see it.
    Great job!

She's even going to need a little bubble in the hood to clear the carbs like Barney's car. The back of the body is sitting an inch off the frame, the subrails are resting on the rear axle preventing the body from fully contacting the frame. Gotta do a little clearance work back there yet.

I've always loved the lakes T's. A buddy has a body doing nothing too. I'm gonna watch this close and see how the big guy does this build. Very cool.

Andy, quick question. I'm going to mock up my motor, but I don't have the rubbers yet. Could you tell me how thick they are? I plan on just using blocks of wood for the time being.

Usually about an inch after they're settled in, maybe a touch taller. But it depends on the brand too...
