hey everyone just picked up a 50' Austin a40 4 door going g***er with it. but trying to figure out the best option to go with for the front straight axle.. anyone got some pointers first g***er build for me.
Buy the 4 or 6 inch drop from speedway - ( that way you can get the spindles and brakes you want) and cut a section out of the center to adjust the width- not the place for spotty welding, but it works very nice-thats what I did on an Opel kadet, and a 49 prefect. Run the parallel springs-its simpler , and looks correct .
something like this? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Dropp...r-Axle-Kit-Ford-Spindle-4-Inch-Drop,3338.html
