hey everyone just picked up a 50' Austin a40 4 door going gasser with it. but trying to figure out the best option to go with for the front straight axle.. anyone got some pointers first gasser build for me.
Buy the 4 or 6 inch drop from speedway - ( that way you can get the spindles and brakes you want) and cut a section out of the center to adjust the width- not the place for spotty welding, but it works very nice-thats what I did on an Opel kadet, and a 49 prefect. Run the parallel springs-its simpler , and looks correct .
something like this? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Dropp...r-Axle-Kit-Ford-Spindle-4-Inch-Drop,3338.html
