    Early gun safety & marksmanship training was a common thing back then during the "saddle shoe" era.
    Amazing how so many people are now paranoid over guns!

    just looking at the guns and slings I can tell you this is a woman's indoor target shooting team rifles are 22 caliber with "bull" or target weight barrels. range length is most likely 50 feet but the center bullseye on the target is smaller in diameter than a 22 slug!So small that you learn to fire between heartbeats because your muzzle jumps with each beat! with the crucifix (cross) hanging on the wall my guess is the range is in a church basement or church community center.the closest rifle appears to be a Mossberg target rifle my guess is they all are since they appear to match
