That's not a bad looking '56 wagon. 3500 sounds like a fair price if it is solid, but definitely not 10,000!

 

what kind of price guide is he using when he assesses them for tax purposes ? or do you have property taxes ?

Last few. Like I said this is an old yard pretty close, but they started crushing a few years ago. For some reason I seemed to grab more pics of the trucks than the others. Bunch of cars there too.

 

That looks like Van's on 59 highway, he used to have a ton of old stuff, then it flooded and he started crushing. Haven't been in a while, but heard there's not much old stuff left. Sad.

 

Yep, really sad. I went last fall and most were gone. Still has a bunch of edsels though.

 

I see a '66 Plymouth/Dodge B-Body convertible in one of those shots

 

It actually looks to be a hardtop with the top cut off. I think I see the remnants of a steel package tray which the convertibles did not have.

 

I'm looking forward to how this turns out. It made me go back through and look again. Cool place.

 

Here is a closer look, but blurry....I looked for a photo of a Satellite convertible body, but could not find any of that area of the back seat/body structure

I'll never understand these people that act like the car is valuable to them or has meaning to them but it's sitting with the doors and hood open.
