The Alter Boys' Jalopy Jamboree will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at the Singletary Rod & Gun Club in Oxford, MA. We'll have a flyer ready soon but in the meantime here are the details:

Gates open at 10am
Cut-off year is 1960
$10 each
Address is 300 Sutton Ave. Oxford, MA 01540

I saw Ken Makuch at Ty Rods this weekend and he told me he was going to try to get the world record holding gas roadster to our car show, September 21 can't come fast enough. Also if anyone wants to sell parts out of their trunk feel free, If you want to set up in the swap meet area let Pete know, we want tons of parts for sale, and we want first dibs!

 

Man I gotta see (and hopefully hear) that thing in person. Hope Ken can bring it!

What happened Bad P?

 

Was following Scott (327-365hp) to Ty-Rods, pulled into the gravel drive, hit the brakes and it wasn't stopping. Turns out the pedal was hitting the slot we cut into the alum. firewall and would pop through if pushed hard enuff. Yikes. Think we have it fixed but we also found out my front hubs are hanging up on the spindles instead of the inside bearing. Car is still all apart.

 

Screw that thing back together and let's go!
