With a little tweeking these mounts will be perfect.
Who ever bent them twisted them a bit and I need to fix that.

I scooped up some more brake parts last night.
They're way cleaner than the ones I have already and came with better hubs and drums!
New looking bearing and the grease is fresh. I think they came off a driving car.

    Thanks JW!

Finally got the front tires on it and rolled it out on it's own!

....huge milestone right there....IT'S A ROLLER!!!!! Great fun pulling it outside for a new look at all your hard work, isn't it? Even the 'unloaded' stance looks great....

    Thanks a bunch fellas!

I've got a clamp on the front suspension to mimic ride height but I'm not 100% sure how much pressure it's really putting on the spring.

It's getting there... It's also been way too cold in the garage!

    Motor mounts are next.

    Looks really good.

You know it's gotta be cold if the exhaust from your furnace is leaving icecicles. :)

  17. Do you think the guy parked next to you is pissed that he left his passenger side window open with all the snow that we got?

I'm sure he was really mad! The passenger seat of that car had almost a foot of snow on it!

Big progress has been being made on the little T lately.
The rear bones are almost done and the motor mounts are almost in.

Before you weld up those engine mounts drop a distrib in the block and drop the body on.

I made that mistake and had to move the engine forward 1/2 inch.

That's what all the mocking up and the lines scribed on the frame were for.
    Thanks for the concern.
I have room to move the body around still too.
We had the water pump and fan on it and marked the frame for where the motor and body sat.

Well worth mentioning. On one build I had a cross member that accidentally covered the bolts on the front of the tranny pan. You had to move the engine back and inch to get the pan off. And you had to take the body off to move the engine back an inch, it was that close......

  29. Kinda? I know you really want to drive it before fall... haha

Looks good bud! Good to see it coming along.
