James Wesley Voight, better known by his stage name as Chip Taylor, is an American songwriter, who is noted for writing the songs "Angel of the Morning" and "Wild Thing." He is the brother of actor Jon Voight and geologist Barry Voight. He is also Angelia Jolie's uncle.

It was on a flatbed trailer at early L.A. car show in 1970's.

Interesting picture this, I wanted to say 1944 because of the election banner across the street. They also took this pic and made a colorized Linen Postcard from it sans the banner. I've also seen this labeled 1939 which would make more sense as the Apache on the right went through several name changes from 45 to 51 can anyone ID these car years? [IMG]

One The Old Motor we have an interesting a post up on the 1956 Chevrolet Assembly Line in Kansas City and just (below) is a photo of a GM Motorama exhibit feature film from 1956 we also have posted, that starts out with a family stuck in traffic in a 1956 Chevrolet convertible. It then takes us to what GM predicted modern transportation systems and the automated turbine car were going to be like. You can see both on The Old Motor.

    Hey SouthUrn-

I just stood next to your avatar last Friday at Leon's. Was wishing I had seen it about 30 years ago. Might have saved it.

    Thanks for the Pics.

There is a song here: Pink Cadillac, Beverly Hills Hotel and a hot little blond leaving in haste.

I think this is Jim Adolph's Holy Smoke Cuda funny car with the words "The Devil Made Me Do It" embossed on the front spoiler.

Here are two pics of my grandfather's new 1942 Packard convertible coupe. One with my grandmother sitting inside. You can see what I think are new car stickers in the windshield. Could also include a gas ration sticker. The second pic is my father, who was in college, sitting the the same car at a different location. Dad always loved that car and wished he could have somehow bought it from his father but circumstances prevented that. I wish we had more pics of this car.
