Uncovered the seat. bare frame Finished product. Sanded all the cracked bondo. Finished with alil red oxide primer .
Nice start, below are a couple of links that may inspire you and your build. Have a read and it may help you to determine which way to go! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=366906 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=663175
Very good. I had a '60 F100 as my daily driver when I lived in central Kansas. I'll always have a place in my heart for the '57 - '60s.
Update... I have been working on the brakes and lights this weekend. I painted my rear bumper to match my patina paint lol. And on top of that I found a 1960 Arkansas license plate, The gf got it for me for valentines day Anyway I think I need a new headlight switch my headlights work, my blinkers work but no dash lights.
Has your front bumper been shortend up closer to the grill as looks to be much closer than mine. I seem to have quite a gap between the grill and the bumper???
i also notice you have some legitimate rust around the bottoms of the bed ends, they sell patch panels for those on our f-100 group on facebook.
The problem with the dash lites is usually the rheostat on the lite switch. I am working on mine, just came in to eat. I'm sick of messing with it and dont need my dash lites to dim so I will rewire the dash lites so they are full bright all the time. You may have seen this truck when I drove thru Van Buren pulling a matching trailer.
