Vintage shots from days gone by!

is this from his movie "The Big Wheel?" I saw a movie years ago where he was a midget race car driver a hard charger that ends up shuned by all the other drivers because in an attempt to warn his friend of a bad wheel he accidently kills him when he losses the wheel and spins right infront of Mickey. I've tried to find this movie but never got a hit on this name. I remember his car was called 2 bits.

I sometimes have questioned Barris' design ability. So many of his "creations" look cheap or simply a bad idea. The darker side panel is just an awful choice.
