Sorry, RK, that's no the XF-11. It's an earlier experimental fighter, the D-2, (a.k.a. XP-73). After a short test flight program it was apparent that the plane would not meet the required specifications. It was destroyed in a mysterious hangar fire, supposedly caused by a lightning strike.
To the best of my knowledge, no photo of the D-2 besides this one has ever been published.

Darth, it's funny that you would post all the pics of Amelia, then switch to Kissels. Amelia had a yellow Kissel roadster, it is in the Forney welding museum in Denver, Co.

 

This view is looking south-west, down Ogden ave. In the '50's, My Uncle Joe was the hotdog push-cart man on the corner across the street,(NW)!! After about 8pm, you had to go into the tavern there to get him........
