The engine, (and a few other things), may not be done in time for The Meltdown....Early Caddy V8's take a little longer to build. However, I might be able to borrow a pickup and trailer to get it there for the show.

 

I vote for you bringing it too.

 

Bring it, my motor won't be done and I'm bringing my car on a trailer.

 

Heck yes...done or not the Meltdown is not only a Race...and....Car Show......it is a yearly reunion....DRAG MEET....running or not.....YOUR MORE THAN WELCOME!!!!

it's hard to describe how cool this event is; i was hooked after the 1st time & will never miss it. it's the highlight of my summer & gets me through these cold 5* winter temps we're having right now. if you're on the fence about attending, please take my advice & show up...you will not be disappointed.

 

And don't miss this!!

 

I'll be there with my Chevy II. Do you think there will be an FX class? If not, I'll race it with the gassers.

 

YES...we have a F/X and A/FX & AWB class....I believe in total there were 8 Altered Wheelbase cars on site...some did not race....but is was awesome to see all of them on one....our Friend Bob also has one that should be attending this year and with yours...it is possible there could be 8-10.
Plus plenty of cars in that class to really make for some fantastic photo ops....the goal at the end of the day.

wouldent miss it for nothing!!!!! what a great time the last couple years. anyone runnin high 14 low 15 hit me up we will line em up and see whos better. i been pickin on the fords to long! so i wont say flat heads are slow anymore! i promise. lol

 

New engne is coming along and will be ready to go!!! Last year was a great time just watching, cant wait to run at it.

This event looks great! Hope to make it one of these years! It's a bit of a haul from Buffalo NY, but would love to bring out our 48 Austin Gasser and play! Unfortunately, this year I'm already booked with the band to play The Syracuse Nationals this weekend. Maybe next year! Keep up the great work! Video looks great!

 

Yeah New York would be a long haul, but Bean dip came from texas and Saxon came from Canada and they seemed to have a blast.

 

I can't wait! I'll definitely be there again this year. I haven't missed one yet!

It only makes sence to pre-register, and I'm glad they said Its Free so you might as well even if something major comes up. I think most guys don't pre-register because its months down the road and $ is tied up.

I know, I just had a baby daughter last July so I couldn't make it. I'll be there this year for sure, car will be there too. Looking forward to this event. How's the shift master hardtop 55, I still want that damn thing! Are you taking that to the meltdown too?

 

HELL YES...I am hauling both cars down as is AJ...it takes us about 8 hours to do it...but you only live once right!!
Do you want a fun ride in the Shiftmaster....new clutch and running correct now...should be a blast....
