Time for a floor and trans tunnel. Hand made. Paying homage to the old time metal workers. hand shrunk sheet metal with a tucking fork and english wheel.

Very nice build.
Are you sure you want solid radiator mounts? I'm not an expert at anything, but Henry put springs under there for a reason.

Very nice. Just as is, doesn't need a chop. Only quibble I'd have is use of a slushbox, but that's a personal-preference thing...

Versailles rear axle? Looks like the big old fifty-pound caliper brackets.

Thanks for the complements guys

I have isolation mounts for the radiator, just not on there for mock up. I tend to lose loose parts, good eye

You got it, no chop!
Right on, on the axle only one I could find wide enough

Thanks,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
I know having the tie rod behind the spindle is ideal but it only gets a slight scrub when the steering is at full lock right or left. Won’t be driving like that at 65, just parking lots.

Thank you
Going to be a pristine street rod no rust or Farmall parts on this one. The roof will be solid steel and will have working windows and heat and all.

20. Wow...I'll watch.

Looks like a great build! Going to be awsome when it's done, and you're making good progress...

One question though, did you make any sort of "ring" to go around the yoke/u-joint? If the U-joint were to fail while you were going down the road the sheet metal cover wouldn't give much protection...

Thank you guys

I do have a pair of drive shaft hoops that I made and yes one does shield the U joint. I'll grab a pic on the next update
