I know its been answered but I had to laugh when watching "Aerial America" Nevada (on the Smithsonian ch) last night they had maybe 30 sec about that place

 

I have been watching this thread from day one and I check it every morning with my coffee and evry night. Its the nostalgia the good old days. It shows me how good we had it befor and up until JFK was killed. And I am a Canadian.

Wow, Gary, '60 Matador. Pretty rare car! And LOOK at the "Norseman" influenced hardtop roofline! Came with a nearly 300-hp 361 four-barrel 10-1 c.r.), but someone in Missouri installed the Polara D-500 383 with dual crossram, as I understand. Hard to find resto parts for these Matadors.

We have seen the picture with Sammy and Marilyn with this car, and some say that was photoshopped.
Also interesting is Marilyn was a spokeswoman for the Singer Automobile..........
