Now that would be a cool build, not only would it be a one of a kind, but would really trip out the purists.

 

This would be a really cool build for sure!

 

Not sure if you´ll like the colour (think Doyle Gammel coupe chocolate brown), but I´d defintiely go for some big inch artillery wheels to fill the arches.

 

If you guys like to you can toy around with some ideas how to redo the "fins".. Dont like them very much

 

I'm back...I sprayed a diecast car with my bright caramel and wimbelton white...can somebody please experiment with charcoal and black where the white is...and anything else you think may look good. I'm sorta stuck with the orange, as I have 3 free gallons of it, and more paint isn't in my budget right now...

 

This is exactly what I had in mind, just didn't know it would look so good, Thank you.

 

Just needs a little signage.

I don´t think i´ve seen anything like this done before...

Oh and please fix those horrible stepped in rocker panels, that Volvo cursed these cars with!

 

If you guys could photo-chop my pickup I'd appreciate it! I'm planning 5", your best guess is close enough!

Also plan to paint the truck, engine and wheels black. If you have some time for this it would be great!

Grocery getter, huh...how about a real quick (no skill involved...honest) shorty version, easy to maneuver...

 

I suck at colour changes, but chopping I can do.

That Escape needs the 4x4 for speed bumps now!

 

I like it, would be a good bit of work but would be a cool truck when all finshed.

Here is my Olds that i decided to put a chop on. Well, at least only in picture format. Its ment to be a very mild chop at somewhere between 3 and 5 inches. I have an original photo and the chopped version. I hope the pics work. I used Microsoft Picture Viewer as well as MS Paint.

 

Bot versions look great, but I really like the idea about the rocker panels! Man it looks ten times better

 

I'd just lower it and paint it black the body is perfect the way it is.

 

Oh, I thought that was a factory option for mounting Lakes Pipes!

Im not trying to get to involved in any major alterations on this car. This is only my first car that i will be solely wrenching on and im doing it with limited funds, tools, and expertise. The thoughts and delusions of grandeur did cross my mind but im sticking to the basics and bare bones customizing. Thanks though.

hi guys ,a fellow club member has bought one of these, a 1949 LIP Vauxhall...yea i know...I shook my head too

anyhoo...he's gona have to customise it or he's gona be driving 2 miles behind the rest of us on cruises!! I'm thinking a roof chop,lengthen the front (prob by stretching the cowl), lower it of course!! and...well i dunno

He's got a 318 Mopar for it ,but everything else is up for discussion...

If your keen to photoshop it...we'd love to see what you can come up with...and I have no idea what it is thats lying on the cowl
