Here is one that I am sure someone probably posted before. I love this truck - a 1947 Ford car carrier.

I am pretty sure I have a couple more from GNRS 2 years ago. I will check my photo computer tonight.

Here you go ME.G***ER. I thought I had one of the interior, but I probably imagined that. I see and photograph a lot of vehicles in the course of a couple of years.

Very cool Tantank49. It looks like it was in good company with other COE's

The mods to the body are incredible.. The grill is slanted back much more than stock. The fenders "curl" down and in on the front to match the extended gravel pan... sweet..

Kind of a long story, but it belongs to my son Joe's Father-In-Law who is sort of a non-related cousin of mine. I know, that sounds kinda cross-eyed slack-jawed baby weird, but the owner's mom's brother was married to my dad's sister, so we're not blood relation but we grew up more or less in the same family and my son ended up marrying the owner's daughter.

Whew, that was a long explanation! Anyway, the owner wants to restore it to a flatbed farm truck of the era. Mostly there but needs quite a bit of scratch built body work since these parts aren't readily available.

    Uncle Johnny,

See my reply to Spankster for the trucks future. I would love to come down and see your projects. My son and I usually do road trips once a month or so. We are going to the Highland Swap Meet on Sunday March 3rd. Maybe we could swing by in the afternoon on the way back. PM me your phone number and we can talk.

Looks like the old beast is coming back from the dead. Very cool that you could get it back.

Did MACK make a COE in the late 30's or 40's ? I think I remember seeing one in Ga. about 25 yrs ago but I now have CRS.

Here's mine, "Bullwinkle" 1956 Ford C-600. It's currently going under major surgery getting a 1956 long bed. Shortened the wheelbase about 5 feet and widened the fenders 12 inches. I'll post more pics when it's done.

Your putting a 8' or 9" pickup box on? What size tires & wheels? Whats the wheels base?

It's getting an 8' bed, the wheels are a 16's and the wheelbase 102".
It's clipped with a 1978 chevy 1 ton front end and has the rear axle also.
