  1. Got it! I'd hears 'gams' before but not 'pins' when re: legs. More of the vernacular we were discussing earlier. That, or I guess I'm not as old as I thunk.

Would that be Larry Stewart's old "Hobo'' Nashville based drag car?

I'm told this was c. 1905 when the area was called Longacre Square. One of these buildings was torn down, and the NY Times building went up. So this became, and remains, Times Square.

Most all car people like '57 Chevys, even if they aren't GM freaks. But here are some RARER ones! ;)

That 210 looks odd. I had one and it had the upper bar on the side trim on the quarter. I searched for a photo of one like in the drawing and only found more drawings, every two ten photo had the regular side trim. I'm guessing this never went into production.

Probably right, buddy. And will you look at the "150"? How many do you ever see with that trim for '57?

Judging from the ads we've seen of other makes (and years), it does appear that production models, some times, didn't quite wind up as depicted in some literature that had been forced into rush-up mode.

(Not GM, but I have some DeSoto literature, e.g., that shows some scenarios that don't seem to have been built at all -- or, maybe, half the production run at best. The DeSoto fight with Caddy over rights to the "SeVille" nomenclature in '56 pops to mind.)
