Holy Bat Train... More from wiki...
The M-497 (nicknamed Black Beetle) was an experimental jet-powered locomotive test bed of the New York Central Railroad corporation, developed and tested in 1966 in the United States of America. Two second-hand General Electric J47-19 jet engines (designed as boosters for the Convair B-36 intercontinental bomber) were mounted atop an existing Budd Rail Diesel Car (an RDC-3, part coach, part baggage and mail configuration) body which had received a streamlined front cowling. The construct was then successfully sent on test runs over the existing tracks between Butler, Indiana and Stryker, Ohio (the line was chosen for its arrow-straight layout and good condition, but otherwise unmodified track). The car reached a speed of 183.68 mph (295.54 km/h), still the light-rail speed record for the United States.[1][2][3]

The dark spot on the right side of the vertical wall of water is believed to be the battleship USS Arkansas.

Working at a Buick dealer in the mid 60s, an old customer came to take delivery his new red Riv, just like this one. It was backed up to a brick wall, he got in, started it up just as one of the mechanics walked out from behind it. He took it out of park and put it into reverse, thinking it was in neutral, and hit the gas to rev it up. It went through the wall, missed the mechanic by a foot and stopped with only the nose sticking out, with pieces of cinder blocks dropping onto the hood. He hadn't even had it off the lot. We all felt bad for the old guy ( probably younger than most of us are now).

Any idea which Honest John this is? It appears there is more than one guy named John that was honest.

9. .. what an unbelieveable amount of power, i sweared i'd never get political, but this i hope never have had happened and never happen again, it's not a thing to be controlled by mankind, i think. it's an impressive pic for sure, but for me it's very scary!

i once covered my front fender by an ole bedsheet, when the fan blades started eatn'em up, it was only a 103hp-straight eight, but the sheet was completely ripped up and the engine stopped immediately with a giant bang! thought my crankshaft broke, heart was pumping up to a frequency that sure wasn't conductive to health, but it was 'only' the water pump blocked...and that was only an automobil engine, no comparson to an A-bomb. sorry, but i'm afraid of scenes like that.

look closely at the top of the stem of the "mushroom" just below the head and you can see that the dark spot is a battle ship on it's side with the bow facing to the right ! Thats what about 1,000 feet above sea level ?( guessing by boat length) there is a second ship standing on end just below that one (dark spot) possibly part of a 3rd ship in the upper left of the stem!

Yes they did. If I recall correctly this is the second test (underwater detonation) following a previous air burst.

In the 1970′s, actress and model Tippi Hedren (mother of actress Melanie Griffith) created the Shambala Preserve after producing the film Roar. The preserve rescued exotic big cats living in captivity that had been abused or were in need of help, one of which the family created a close bond with. Neil the lion lived with the family in their home, and played an active role in the day to day activities of the preserve.
