That SB is sweet even with the spy hunter hub caps.

I like the amber fog light.

Here's mine I have the amber light bulb in it but have a clear one NOS in a box and the one that turns with the steering wheel. I know I have a bad habit for collecting parts.

It is hooked up to a cable on the driverside and it turns left by springs. I can take it down out of the rafters and snap a few pictures. Here's what the box label looks like.

They come up about once or twice a year on ebay and go from $125 on the low to $375 on the high. It would be really easy to make your own.

haha, man that is crazy. never heard of that on any car. funny the 1950's had push start buttons, and they just been bringing that back on new cars over the last few years. A Light that looks in the direction you turn is awesome. No rush but if you could take a picture of it would be interesting

I knew Tuckers did it... His cars were ahead of the competition in many ways.. Hence the Big 3 taking him out.

That is a Must Have accessory for you 49-50 owners !!

FINALLY! my car has never had a working gas gauge. Well maybe like 40 years ago it worked. Had to do some custom stuff to get it going. Happy i dont have to guess at where i am at on Fuel now.

So. People ask if i have a Stereo. Technically, i have no "car stereo" deck in her. I have a custom vintage case my buddy made me. Runs on a battery with good speakers, hit's hard and even has the iPod hookup and plugs into wall if you need to charge etc.. Well, once i got it done by him i sent it to Margaret ( lady who did my interior ) to get it wrapped with my same setup. It's not done yet but here's a couple pics to give you an idea where it is so far.

Yea man I lucked out....especially for up here in ohio....there's some small rust spots that'll need adressed on the bumpers/grill and a couple small issues with the paint but the body is solid as hell...i dont think ill have to do a single patch....it still has the flat six in it so ill eventually wanna do an engine swap and air ride all the way around...if I chop it at all I'm thinking something small like 2-3 inches max....but in all my research, all my favorite shoeboxes have been unchopped and after seeing yours with the visor, I'm thinking I might just leave it alone and rock one of those myself (quite honestly much like you used hombre as inspiration, ill probably be doing the same to you....maybe when mines all done, ill run it out to the west coast and we can do a triplet photoshoot lol)....but that's all long term...for the time being I have to replace the carb and do what i can on the quick and cheap to try and get it to sit a little lower and I just wanna drive it for the summer....being this is my first hot rod I don't wanna tear into it yet, I just wanna enjoy driving it for a little while before I do

I forgot to mention I'll pobably shave the door handles and french the headlights....and I don't know if you've seen it but I really like the hood lines on pantera's box...its a really sweet looking 51 ford convertible....so I might take some out of the nose but that's still up in the air

Yesomr, check to see if Ford Aerostar springs work on shoeboxes. I know they did on 52-59 Fords. Mine cost about $70 new and brought the nose down about 2 1/2 inches- improved the handling a bunch as well. Perfect fit. Nice rides fellas!
