Your 5w coupe deserves a better licence plate than "RAT 32" so I think there's some karma happening here LOL

Keep up the posts and pics as I'm enjoying the story. I haven't been to Gairdner since 1996 and there was only 17 cars and 4 bikes running that year. Beenlots of changes since then.

  9. Hi Al not sure what you mean by red X'S ???

  10. This is Graham Scott with his streamliner Graham is the one stood up leaning over, he built this car himself and took the car to the salt on his own, normally his son would have there to help but was away overseas. Not sure how old Graham is but looked to be in his 70s ( sorry Graham if I have got it wrong ) I hope if I ever get to his age that I am still as passonate about hot rods and salt racing as he is.
Graham ran 105 mph his personal best is 127.514 mph which is a record for its class.

  14. No have not moved or deleted pics, when I look at the thread all the pic that I have added are all still there.

  15. This is Trevor Slaughter streamliner fantastic looking unit fresh out for first time running a turbo charged Toyota engine in the under 3 litre class fasted time was 253.700 mph which is an Australian record for its class, I'm sure there will be better things to come for this streamliner including a world record.

And I thought I could not see pics as I was using a silly iPad. Or is it me that's silly as I see a lot of blue ? Boxes . But it's tantalizing not to see all the pics.
