I'm sort of surprised with all the eagle eyes on here that someone hasn't figured out what kind of car is between the Corvair and and Valiant or the one sitting at an angle just to the right and above the green mid 50s Cadillac.

I'd think anyone that could come up with those two might get the crown for "King of the Scrapheap"

 

Model "W" I've NEVER seen that mentioned before in my 52 years in the hobby. Wonder if the illustrator just got carried away, rear fender style didn't see production until 1915. Also note that both cars are right hand drive. Bob

There are tons out there and these I beleive are different than those before.
Seen both the Monza GT and Monza SS in person at the GM Heritage museum. They also have the Astro 1 concept there.

As for Nader. I even have an autographed copy of his book that I had him sign at the 1991 Corvair convention in DC. He was our guest speaker.

99% of the people who know the name Ralph Nader feels he killed the Corvair. this is in fact not true at all. Lee Iacocca killed the Corvair. Back in 1964 when Iacocca running ford came out with the Mustang, that was the true death of the Corvair. Horsepower ruled the world, there was only so much that could be done with the rear engined flat six of the Corvair. The Turbocharger could only do so much, and upcoming emissions standards were going to take away even more horsepower.
The Camaro in 1967 was the planned Corvair replacement. 1966 was supposed to be the last year of the Corvair. But then Nader's book came out in 1965 and GM was seriously afraid that if they abandoned the Corvair as planned it would be an admission of guilt on their part.
Nader in effect "saved" the Corvair, at least it got a reprieve and lasted to the 1969 model year.

Looks like a late 30s or 40s scout or maybe chief power plant. Indian made one similar as ww2 prototype. There is one in the Springfield museum in Mass.

CAN'T TELL ABOUT THE COWL, BUT THAT'S A 63 IMPALA WITH THE RUBBER SNUBBERS ON THE BUMPER.

 

the car above the upsdide down 63 impala is a late 60's gm you can tell by the heater motor housing shape the one between the valient and the corvair wagon i dont really know but was thinking it could be a shoebox ford going off the position of the heater motor but the rest of the firewall doesnt look right so ill just says its an old ford product

 

The car between the corvair and valiant looks to be a 60 to 64 full size Ford product and the one next to the caddy looks to be a early to mid 60s Gm product.
