Carlos told me about this Older Gentleman, about all the junk Cars he had. What I found out, this guy was 91 years old and gave me the tour, of the history behind each OLD CLASSIC. He told me that each and every part was either cleaned or rebuilt. He did all the Engine work and all on these Old Classics. As a matter of fact, he was working on a old '39 Lincoln Coupe. May he RIP as he passed on a little over a year ago.

Yes, with Edgar Bergen sitting next to him wearing the white suit.

Sorry, that should say Eddie's older brother Earl. Eddie of course was an arms dealer played by Chevy Chase :)

I wonder if I'm related to any of them. My grandfather was born just east of Burwell in 1887. He was long-gone by this time, but maybe some of his relation stayed.

Cancel that. It was Albion, not Burwell. The little "town" is all gone now, but it was named Bradish.

The Flying Crow was the Kansas City Southern's "all-points" train. This one is in Texarkana in 1951. Is there anyone here who knows what the name of the KCS's best passenger train. I know this is a car thread, but it is a GM product on the nose of the train!

Too bad they couldn't get a really famous guitar player for their slumber party, eh?

It's hard to say who was more famous at the time:

Well, if you were black in the 1950s and some photographer had you pose with a buffer next to a white woman with a sign like that, you might have second thoughts too... people got lynched for less back then!
