1959 Pioneer electric car prototype, with Nic-L-Silver Battery President
George Lippincott at wheel, thanks to GreenCarReports. Lippincott
engaged Frank Kurtis to design and build the chassis and Victress of
North Hollywood to do a 'glas body subtly different from their own fiber-
glass bodies. Drive was via two electric motors, and range was up to 150
miles. Due to projected high costs for bring it to full production, only
one Nic-L-Silver Pioneer was built, and it is reportedly still in existence.
Photo thanks to the Car Connection.

Scrounged up a few more from my personal stash. These four Instamatic shots were from the 1977 World of Wheels car show in Chicago; badly faded but I did what I could:

And for swi66, one more (or maybe 2/3 of one more?) Corvair:

Mid-Atlantic Air Musuem in Reading,Pa. will soon have the only one in flying condition. I think there's only about 3 left.

Four - one in the Smithsonian, one at the Air Force Museum in Dayton, the one at Reading, and one on display in China.

I am sure she would have worn her hair differently if she had any idea that it would be important to you 4+ decades later. :)

True, was merely trying to say. Us LA natives would easily know that Avenue 57 to be an exit off the Arroyo Seco Pkwy, Pasadena Fwry, 110, 11, and just plan old Arroyo Seco referring to the river that naturally ran into LA. The landscape still looks the same to this day, even though the picture is way before my being born.

If I remember correctly that was a shot from the Stage at the Ed Sullivan theater in NY. So chances are they were east coast cars. Probably were in the Cars Mags from the period. the show aired in September of 64. Their next appearance was in 68 and no cars on the set then.
