Almost Spring it is, 'Probably won't be selling this time, I sold almost all my extra junk at the Early Bird Swap last month But, see you there!
Check it out! We usually have a pretty good turn out. Maybe not quite as big as the one last month but close if I recall correctly. There will be quite a few vendors there, lots of people selling and showing cars, parts, antiques. You never know what you might find til you go!
If this wasn't the same weekend as the Portland Roadster show I'd make a run over there Saturday. I don't think I can convince my wife to drive from Portland to Puyallup and then back over Snoqualmie P*** on Sunday to include a swap meet though.
I will be in the Showplex building about in the middle this is my last show for Puyallup for ever retiring from shows due to health reasons Look for the English wheels, sheet metal hand tools & hand formed 36 roadster body back half.
Thinking about heading down on Saturday. Looking for a '50 Ford trunk prop. Thought about heading down to Portland for the Roadster Show. Have an employee who's parents will have a black '60 Vette there. Too far to do a day trip and see all the cars though. Think you have the right idea Mr48chev. Make it a weekend.

Well...not the best swap...found a handful of trinkets and spent less than $100 which is rare for me. It's a smaller swap but one that on occasion can yield big rewards. My buddy grabbed a couple goofy strombergs (4 bolt with the weird choke) but with the large logo 97 on the main body for $10 a piece. Harmon Collins dual coil distributor sold for $100...biggest score that I heard of as of Friday night. JohnnyA
I didn't see anything I needed badly enough for model A parts but I"m saving most of my money for taxes and an engine rebuild. I bought a few misc tools and got a great deal on some Atlas Gloves but thats it for me. Public turnout was pretty good but there were fewer vendors than last year. I did see some pretty good deals on some nice parts and cars. Its at some of these events I can see how rodders and restorers can live in harmony! The weather was good early but it downpoured in the afternoon which really killed things and quieted it down. Enough vendors left today after the show that Sunday is going to be fairly slow but there might be some goodies to be had. The car show inside the showplex will still be there also and admission is $3 tomorrow vs. $5 for today. Thanks for all those who showed up to promote the hobby! (either buying, selling or just looking)
I ended up there on Saturday. Went after work on friday. Stayed at the Hampton. Picked up a few things, but there wasn't alot of T stuff around. Stayed till around 1:30 then the rain and wind hit. I was tempted to pick up an A frame there was a nice one ther and the guy was only asking $150.00 should of snapped it up for a project. I'll be back.
i bought some kobalt and craftsman tools that im guessing "fell off a truck" for cheap. Other than that, not much A stuff around and nothing i needed.
the '49 Studebaker business coupe with a cherry '50 bullet clip was tempting, very solid and relatively cheap as was the '29 2dr sedan the smaller low key meets can produce some real gems like the complete Kinmont brakes a certain HAMBer bought last year for an unheard of low price at the very same meet
I got a good price on a set of '31 license plates. This '29 Sports Coupe was drawing crowds at $9,800. Couldn't believe how smooth and quiet it ran.
