Yes, I believe they are Duponts. Saw one today at the AACA museum.

I've been to the top of the mountain directly above the driver's side of the car. It is Guadalupe Peak, the highest point in Texas, now a part of Guadalupe National Park. El Capitan is the outcrop that looks taller, but it is just an optical illusion.

This photo is in Oklahoma as the Fort Smith and Western Railway, which is on the bridge behind them, ran only from Shady Point to Guthrie, Oklahoma. It got to Fort Smith on trackage rights. When it was abandoned in 1939, it was the largest railroad abandonment up to that time.

Forgot to say that you can see the abandoned railroad bed just east of Okemah as it crosses I-40 running from southwest to northeast.

Check out the cars to the right of that beautiful girl. I've had a crush on her for over 40 years now, but the cars are interesting too. This would be 68, I believe, as it is from her junior yearbook, and you've got some 50's vehicles in the parking lot. Interestingly, everyone of these people went into education.

I have been archiving these classic shots and have them as a slide show for a screen saver and I can't believe the people that gather around my computer when it goes in screen saver mode.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
