    Hi Sudzhis,

After silvering the piece it is perfect, crystal clear and looks really good.
and yes I have made some pretty strong tint. but it seems to look to dark with the really strong tint.

    Thanks

    Thanks everyone,

I will continue to work at it. all of you have good suggestions, if you think of anything else please let me know.

How many coats of the tinted clear coat do you guys do?

Do you apply 1 heavy coat? or a few light coats?

Nicamarvin is PRO in this process and Hi said, that best result is when u apply first clear coat with not tinted clear, wait some 24h and apply tinted clear coat! I dont try it yet, but I will!

spray more silver on the piece...

see my first video.. see how long I took doing this pice? now if you see right on the middle of the video you could see that this piece is already looking good, meaning you can see the mirror effect, the issue is that if I had stopped at that moment and then clear coat it then the piece would have turn out to be too dark, so the secret is to keep spraying for a longer period. try it and let me know ok..

while you have perfected the Silvering process, you just dont get the coating process right and you are wasting too much money....

practise and practise with small pieces like spoons or medium pieces, do that untill you get it right, then you can move to larger pieces, again its not the silvering the issue, you clearly have it down, you just need to practise the coating process, re read my posts maybe you can find something useful

Thanks Nicamarvin! With spoons, dishes (small, medium ) all is easy! I can do tons of them! When starts bigger parts, there is fun! Lot of fun!

For top coat i use for now- acrylic ceramic (anti scratch)clear coat! Extra hard to scratch and good shine! It seems to bee good! Still fighting with top coat, but i wil get Ok!

very good job I like sudzhis, defects are often not seen in the photos, but they look great (Y). the blue can be much silver or problems with the reducer .... you're using to reduce?

i think that is much silver.... the reducer don't does good job or the concentrations are bad... de cuando usted tiene este problema?

    according to angel gilding:
Blue areas The chemicals are not in balance. Check that your spray guns, drip tubes or pump bottles are delivering equal amounts of Activated Silver and Silver Reducer. Be sure you have mixed the chemicals properly.

Cromarte I tryed all possible variations! I`m for 99% trust to balance of my chemicals! I had a doubble nozzle spray gun, there is no way that this gun spray one more one less!

Do someone before get a problem with room temperature? What happens when room temperature is less than 20`C?
