OK, so I'm going to the dark side, and gonna build something a little different than I have in the past...so, would appreciate it if one of you "photo shop wizards" could lower this somewhat and add some 5 spokes or wheels of your choice, I'm also open to ideas on color. Thanx for any ideas.

  8. Maybe go for some Halibrands/salt flats style wheels, in (don´t shoot me!) a bigger diameter than usual - 17" perhaps. Red line tyres are a must.

Never seen one of these smaller Studes as a hardtop - didn´t know they existed, but ti looks great.

Wow I love it, even the 17's and the red line tires. Sits right also. Was surprised as to how good it looks without the door handles etc.
    Thanx.....

  14. You´re not wrong - pokes you right in the eye doesn´t it!
Car could use a 2" chop also, but I don´t know if the owner wants to go there.

I wanted a direct profile of a Lark for an idea I had, but couldn't find one. So I modified a Lark 2-door post into a hardtop. Usually 2-door pillarless cars have a longer door, but it looks like Studebaker used the same length doors for both. That might explain the hanging frame.

Anyway, I was looking for some period Hurst Indy 500 wheels when I discovered the new Hurst Stunners. Yes, big and out-of-period, but very aggressive-looking on the compact Lark.

I'm trying to help a friend on this '64 Wildcat. He would like to see it all gray, gray with white top, and gray with black or maroon top. I'm kinda thinking all silver with heavy flake would look best. Can someone help?

    Thanks

Could I get some chrome steelies or maybe some chrome reverse wheels? I want to keep the pinner whites that are on it. If you're feeling creative, I would like to see a metal flake top and maybe a custom scallop job.

    Thanks.

  29. My father in law had a car that was this one's twin except for the roof being a not so dark cherry red. He's in the hospital now and keeps talking about this car and a Harley 45. Found a good pic of the harley but he doesn't have one of his old car. Could someone do a sick old fella a favor and put a red roof on this car??
