Hey it is sunday! Modellers, where are you? Ok I start with my current project a '57 Ford Gasser Based on Revell's '57 Ford Custom I'm buildin a Gasser with 427 SHOC and Hilborn Injection
Great work there mate, impressed by the inner door detail. Another one of you super builds. Cheers Rod
Michael that gasser lookin real good. And I see you beat me to posting this thread, this sunday.......lol Thanks.

1/87 scale, wow, that's amazing. Like working on a watch. I scratch build cars in 1/8 scale so I can see the stuff. Here's my latest sprint car finished up. The next one is a vintage racer.
Great start guys! Michael, that gasser Ford look promising - keep it coming! Halfass & Old Sprinter, cool to see broad range of scales in here. Tiny ones and gigantics Here's my last build, the winner of the tri-five contest. I am stoked, can still not believe how it managed to get to number 1 spot running against such great competition. Thanks to all builders & voters!
My old AMT 49 ford kit with a photo of the real car in the background. I'm also building a 34, 5 window to try a few tricks on, before I try them on my real, steel 34. Chopping a plastic 34 is tricky. BTW, the 49 ford model looks pink in the photo. It's actually gray primer with the wood reflecting off it.
I have not built nothing new for a while, so I will add something old. I built this Gas Rhonda model around 1970 when I was ten. The picture was shot on wall in my backyard, with added cotton smoke.
Hello all, kind of new to the site, posted a few times about my real fulsize cars, but here are just a couple models i built this winter. When i was a teenager i use to build lots, but then i got into building real cars, just this past winter i built about five cars for the first time in over 15 years, most of my paints had dried out! anyway, i will show you guys a couple this week. I am mainly into vintage drag racing, customs, and,60s models. Great thread, and some great looking models you guys! The pisano car is an ancient jungle jim kit, with slixx decals, the nothwind is AMT with fredcady decals, all detailed out
This is a model of the Zep Diner that was in Los Angles . There's a Mc Donalds where the original was. Anyone who wants to see how this model is progressing then visit me at : http://s13.zetaboards.com/TheModelBuilders/index/ scrubba
How appropriate for the Ford Custom 300 that started this thread. Just finished up the Revell kit yesterday. This is sort of the car I might have built back in my early 20's. I did fix up a '57 Custom 300 but in a different color and Keystone mags. I think this is how I'd built one today. A bit subdued but sort of a sleeper. The kit wasn't too bad to work with...the exhaust piping was hardest to get where you want it to be. All in all, I was pleased with this model........... Mac VP
Thought id share this truck. Been a while since i shared in the model car sunday. This truck i finished recently. Amts 34 ford truck, front suspension from revells 29 ford truck kit with buick drums fitted to the backing plates. The motor is revells 37 ford truck flathead with all the chrome stripped and painted aluminum. The interior door panels and set are revell 36 ford coupe while the dash and column is revell 37 ford truck. Body is stick except that i shaved the spare tire well. Headlights are from the revell 30 ford tub.
today must be the day of the 57 ford.... nothing wrong with that heres pics of my freshly finished 57 fresh from the workbench i mean it is still wet in the pics !!!!!
