Well it doesn't look that far from traditional as far as 56 Chebbies go. No dubs or any of that manure. Throw an air mattress in the back and you have a Speedweek road trip special and don't need a tent to keep up with.
THANKS ,everybody It's been along time com'in.theres enough work left to be done that makes this a very enjoyable project, and still remain a daily driver,Ive got 3 local body shops that want this car.I don't really like the flames, but summer is coming up quick, and hot august nights is rite around the corner,a little TLC and this is going to get busy just the way it is
X2 the wheels. The five-spokes would make anything look good... killer ride too. Congrats on a good find.
this car was put together by an ole scool drag racer, the work that was done is top notch, the choices he made on parts and install leaves nothing to question or change .the engine is a little o/t but a ls3 was not a bad choice and a t-5 makes all the better.by the looks of the car,he got it running, threw a quick paint job on it,put it on the road.never finnished the back half of the interior.I'm going to try to finish this car the way I see the deriction(sp) it was going.the son is putting togrther a history of his father ,and going to send it to me.this is not my build but I wish it was. his dad will be given all the credit he deserves. now i have to make it mine
