The photo above is the best copy of W. Gould Brokaw's 1904 Renault we have ever seen showing this car and we have split it into two larger photos from above on The Old Motor, so that you can study it’s details. Take a special note of the frame which was of lug and tube construction.

More details along with Brokaw's boat racing pursuits can be found on The Old Motor.

This vid is from back in the 50's
The cars are racing at a tipical High School stadium - They are using the running track going around a football field

[Dodie Stevens was a singing prodigy at the age of four. By the time she was seven she began making local television appearances, and in 1959, at age thirteen, she had the #1 hit, gold record “Tan Shoes & Pink Shoe Laces”. She sang it on the "Dick Clark Show," Feb. 18, 1959
She also appeared on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand and starred with Fabian in her first film, “Hound Dog Man." Dodie also toured worldwide with Fabian, Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, Paul Anka, Bobby Rydell and many more teen idols from that era

Dodie recently appeared on a show produced by Larry Black in Nashville called Country Family Reunion on RFD Television when they did a Rock and Roll revival show. She sang Pink Shoe Laces and was still looking HOT!

Anybody got a good sharp copy of Ed's starter? I think the name was "Wade-A-Minit."

I've thought about it but then after the couple hundred people that would buy it were done I'd be finished. Because the cars are all tucked away in Museums or private collections not many people have ever seen one in person. Unless you're a hard core car guy you've never heard of a Tucker. That makes it hard to sell books.

I could probably make a lot more money if I wrote a book about tri-five Chevys. :(

Nice job quickly IDing, taken from Roman god of same name that faced both ways. Fun fact: One of the few factory Zündapp Janus options offered included a fake steering wheel for the rear door so your kids could pretend to drive.

  24. This is a good example of how a rather unexciting car style could be massaged into a really classy ride without major expensive mods. It would be my preference for sure.
