That's cool, a T-33 Shooting Star! I wonder if there are any airworthy birds left?

There are I think 6 junkers sitting in Putnam Ct. in an old mill complex but the guy that owns them was renting 2 other T33 trainers for movie use. They all came out of Spain he also had several L19 Bird Dog Observation planes in crates he bought as surplus with Korean markings. He still has several other military aircraft sitting as junks along with a couple Korean war Bell Helicopters hidden in a building and supposedly a couple Hueys in there as well.

Moline Kansas Santa Fe depot also from Kansas Memories. The photo is dated 1931 and I know the depot lasted until at the 1970's.

    More specifically, it's a '62 Dodge intermediate.

Hey thanks guys..Never heard of it .I like it .

  9. I don't recollect when they went out of service but it seems there were several at Shaw AFB when I was stationed there in the early 70s. Does that sound possible? Air Force had a training mission on base but it might've been T38s, not sure.

I remember a drag car back in the sixties in N.J., a black four door just like the one pictured. It was called "Double Ugly" I think it had a 413 or 426 wedge.
