Thanks, I sold it to a friend a few months back. He loves the car. It's bagged, the interior's been re-done, and the old 401 Nailhead runs great. Its original Silver with Maroon interior. He just wants to see a few different paint schemes on it before it goes to the paint shop.

  7. I want to see what the Dodge would look like chopped, don't think their is enough roof to get a good line. I would really appreciate the help.

These 3-window Dodge are pretty well-proportioned out of the box and can get squashed-looking when chopped.

Here is a subtle "cheater-chop" that gives a sleeker profile. The roof crown is lowered above the stock side-window frame. The windshield actually is chopped 1-2 inches.

YA! I love the short roof! Plenty of room to make it a retractable.

Wondering if you guys could help me out on something... Computer software ain't my bag lol

Anyways... If it's possible I'd like to see what my '33 Ford will look like when it's done. Here are two pictures of it currently (don't really care which picture gets done... Just figured one might be easier then the other):

Would like to see it with a bright red bottom half, and black top, along with silver numbers (and silver around the windows, and maybe the headlights painted black too if possible).

Here's how the numbers would look:

Just trying to visualize how it's going to look in the end... Getting close now!

Any help is greatly appreciated, you guys have turned out some great looking work in this thread!

    Thanks

I would but I suck at colour changes, I can do mods pretty good though if you want any of those.

Thanks LN7 NUT, but the only changes are shaving the hood and tailgate, the trucks just about ready for paint. Happy Easter!

  20. These cars have other issues that need to be considered - a very deep body and short rear fenders. Adding side chrome (56 Merc here) works as a cheating way of doing a section job and allows more of a chop, and then I did a LOT of reshaping on the top and window frames (inlcuding a raked screen) to eliminate the squareness of the roof line. Extended the rear fenders to accept the Merc chrome and added 52 Lincoln taillights and pulled the rear bumper back.

Wow - that should keep the torch lit for awhile!

I wouldn't have thought of '56 Merc trim. Works nicely with the extended rear fender. Great ideas.

Can someone please turn this into a taildragger with skirts, whitewalls, sitting low in back and stock height up front.
A 5" chop to the top and lose the spare tire and bumpers,as if i'm not asking for too much.
I'd love to see it in a Pagan Gold color. Thanks so much.

My version is massaged in most directions. Not exactly what you asked for, but some visual food for thought. <label for="rb_iconid_7">[IMG]</label>
