The chrome vents behind the cab look like Sterling hood vents.

My guess is they are the clip on white walls. I had them on the 1939 Ford Sloper I had along time ago and I pulled them off after I ruined one on a road kerb / gutter.

Look at the first photo and you will see they are dual rear tyres.

A clever air cleaner setup. I did wonder what they had come off.

Flappers are illegal in Australia, so I doubt that's what they would be!
    (especially on a 'Truck' !)

Is that what you call them ? Flappers. Well Antique Tyres sold them to me and I had them on the Sloper. Till I busted a second one up so bad I removed the lot. I guess they could be proper white walls on that truck. I will have to find out.

That doesn't make then legal (just cause someone sells them!)
If they are 16's they are certainly available in Oz as white walls.
You can by many different sizes too!!

    On my own car:
Rears are 750 x 16 (available in rags or radial) Fronts are also 16's

I have no doubts about them (flappers) being illegal here. Question is what are they on that COE ?

Then you don't know 'much' do you?
    They ARE illegal!!
If you want to question it, take it up with me privately!!
(have you seen what they do to the side wall of a tyre??)..... I doubt it!!

Who cares!............ they "look" cool to me!! :D
If it was on the road, then that would be different, wouldn't it?

Nice Truck, Cool Wheels & Tyres (I hope it's not running a 6 cyl diesel!) :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Why do you think I eventualy took them off the Sloper ? I have not had anything to do with flappers since so no need to know the legalitys about them.

Well it is on the road :D and going by the air bagged front end I would say it is running a Chevrolet.

I picked up this 1959 Chevy viking 50 LCF cab today,I spotted it on craigslist down in Denver and just had to have it :D
Looking at putting it on a 95 chevy 1 ton van dually ch***is
The Cab is complete with seat, dash, ignition with the key in it along with all the badges ,Its a deluxe trim package on the cab by the looks of it.
Here's some pics of it lashed down to my trailer for the trip home.

Mad-Cad - Wow! I'm jealous. That cab sure would look nice sitting on one of my stripped motorhome ch***is (new, never had a body on them). If you were closer to me, I would love to come over and drule for a while. You're safe. I'm in VA. Good luck and remember to keep us posted.
    NICE FIND !!!

If I'm not mistaken, those fender badges were used on the 58's and 59 got the rocket shaped ones like my Suburban has.

LN7 NUT,somewhere back in HAMB-time you photoshopped my 56 lcf cab onto the front of your stretched burb ,looked right aswell! :D
By the way whats the track width on a 95 chevy 1 ton dually van in comparison to the same year c3500 dually truck ?wider or narrower?

I thought that was you! I still think a panel or Burban body on an LCF would be awesome!

I had a guy from Canada call me to talk about my truck because he was planning on doning something like that to suburban. I think it is a great idea although I do not think I could cut up one like LS7 NUT's kick *** suburban.

Here's a picture of a long Burb that I sent LN7 last year. This would be a good LCF conversion. It's in Billings Mt
