When I was younger (age 13), I thought April fool jokes were the greatest. Now, I hate them, but only if they are done by adults. It just seems stupid for an adult to go around playing tricks. Kinda like the adults who dress up for Halloween or wear oversized "Pro" football jerseys. Seems kinda stupid seeing an adult doing it.

However, you did get me, up until I saw that the chrome on that motor was just too damn shiney. So, carry on fool.:D

I'm always so impressed by the humourless "grown-ups" that turn up to ***** about these threads. Reminds me why I dont EVER want to "grow up".

Good one, Don-vee. Got me, hook line & sinker, and I didn't flop outa the boat until the Henway comment.
And I don't wanna grow up either. There's some humor in almost everything. I feel sorry for the wet blankets a**** us.

I'd like to see some more pictures, that is some engine, I'm new to the hot rod world, but would this engine sit in a 32 Deuce frame, I know it would need to strengthened so it would twist the thing up with all that torque, I'd like to know more about this type of engine, I've have own plans for the future to hopefully build a 32 three window Deuce powered by a 400ci V12 Jag engine pushing out a respectable 500bhp to 750bhp depending on the tune, This could be some years away, as I lost my job taking care of my sick wife after she had our first baby, a little girl named Poppy, my boss fired me even though I couldn't leave my wife and new born baby at the time, what Bleep Bleep Bleeping Bleep! Anyway alls not lost, its made me re-evaluate my life and my goals, I've been writing on a off some years, its my dream to direct one of Screen Plays is set in the Summer of 1959 the film is called American Dreams set in the Summer of August 1959, set over 3 days and 3 nights, about a young Custom Hot Rod Builder, by the name of Johnny Vincent, and his Fathers Hot Rod Shop called American Dreams. Its a story about the Rock & Roll years, and how the Custom Hot Rods came about, at a time when music played a big part in these kids lives when people were young and care free, when every new day was an adventure waiting to be experienced, with new Rock & Roll artists with new songs, with a whole new style, which came along and changed the world forever, a time, when they had nothing but their friends, Rock & Roll Music, Fast Cars, and a whole lota dreams, its about those summer nights you don't want to end, driving to the coast just to watch the Sun rise, with the music playing on the radio, no mp3's or CD players, but they didn't care, for they made their own music in life, when things were more simple, they went out there and lived their lives, in a time when everything was new, when Custom Hot Rods ruled the roads to the sound of American V8's Rolling Wheels of Thunder, "This is American Dreams. If you listen to this track The Wanderer by Dion & The Belmonts as you read the opening Scene http://youtu.be/_NybY4V4bK0
The opening scene of the film opens up with Johnny V telling us his story of the Summer of August 1959, My name is Johnny Vincent and this is my story and my memories, its about 3 days and 3 nights, that have stayed with me the rest of my life, its about those early day's of Hot Rods, Rock & Roll, Beautiful girls, and Summers days, and nights, its about the freedom of the open road, and the fast cars we drove back in the Summer of 59. This is my American Dream!
Then the camera, shot from an ariel view follows the Little Black 1932 Ford 5-Window Deuce Coupe, its 7 am in the morning, as the camera comes in close up alongside the ford, the Sound Track The Wanderer plays by Dion & The Belmonts comes in loud in the background, the camera then moves in close, then in one take, it moves into the car which looks seamless, them we see the inside of the car, and hear that great American V8, then a few seconds later we go to the next shot of the car coming fast down the road, then Johnny slows down using the gears only blipping the throttle with before each change down, before slowly pulling into Cathy's Diner.

I’m Looking to make some good friends here who can help me make this dream a come to life, I’ll post this again under American Dreams set in the Summer of 1959,
I would like to keep this as authentic as possible, with some of the most awesome drive sequences and amazing sound track boot! I’m looking to find help with getting the cars built for the film to how they may have looked, if a innovative young Hot Rod builder of these times would have built his car, I’m looking to find and cast the actors, and put a film crew together along with financing the whole thing, the more people that get to hear about my Film project, the more chances I have for getting this up and running!
    :)

yea, a few years back, right around the time Ford did the retro Mustang body style. They had someone do a bunch of concept car drawings for a new Javelin and AMX and so on. It was actually pretty well done, had me going until I realized it was the April issue.
