Got more done, got the trans mounts mostly done, got the new gas tank installed (had to get rid of th stupid new screw on cap and put the stock one back on it) ran the battery cables, made a battery box, mounted that, started on the clutch slave mount, also got a stop light switch bracket made for the hanging pedals. we also got the rear wheel cylinders rebuilt, man, studebaker wheel cylinders arent the easiest to find, i ended up getting some that were close and using the insides out of them.

this morning i also had to go pick up another car i bought, a 59 buick convert!

and i drug my 32 fordor into the garage, i need to get this kinda mocked up for the show too.

Wow. You are seriously busting some ***!
it's so cool to see all those old parts finally being put to use. It just amazes me they managed to stay with the car for all these years.

Damn! You got some cool stuff guy! It's too bad you couldn't have kept the old school tires on that coupe. I would love to have a set of those blue streaks.

The blue streaks were cool but they were dry rotted pretty bad, it had white walls before the blue streaks so thats what we went with.

didnt work on the chevy today but i did have the mallory dual point gone thru this morning, thats all ready to go, so i might start putting the motor together tomorrow or monday, well see.

Adam (Bull on here) was over to work on pulling his flathead apart but he ended up polishing up the coupe, he spent alot of time on it and it cleaned up super nice!

I putsed on pulling the valves out of his flathead then i got distracted by another project, sticking the 471 blown olds in my 32 sedan.

I also picked up a couple sun distributor machines!

I have a question about you clutch setup. Is that a stock chev truck slave on a custom bracket? Or somthing else?

Everyone must be at a loss of words for the progress were makin on this thing! not like all the other dealine build posts! no feedback on this post! i feel like im the only one postin!

Well we got motor in today and most all of the **** hooked up, we just have to add some fluids, get the throttle return springs on it and bolt down the covers, blead the brake and clutch, and prime the motor and bolt on the radiator and hoses, should be done by noon tomorrow!:D well at least hopefully tomorrow night!

also some one had asked for pics of the slave mount, here they are, pretty simple, there are 2x 1/2" spacers off the mount that the slave bolts too.

Well I'm definatley paying attention. Maybe it's because you so damn fast, I think most people on the H.A.M.B are are just use to waiting 6 months for rad updates on great builds, haha. Not one day!

Ditto! I'm curious to see your ****** mounts also. Thanks for the pictures of the slave bracket, I was curious about that myself... Keep the pics coming, don't feel bad about the lack of comments either. It's a Chevy thing. People around here have a DILLIGAF sentiment towards them. The one's that matter are paying attention. ;)

  29. Sweet project, its coming together great. Its weird how sometimes cool builds go un-commented for awhile, and then get ****loads...
