Gary, GREAT pic of a car that's rare nowadays! My wife's Dad had a Lincoln Premiere like this too, canary yellow with black top and the same engine FoMoCo used in the Mark II and the Turnpike Cruiser -- beau coup torque! First brand new car he ever owned. (I still have a brand new NOS nameplate script for this model, too.) What a land yacht! :D And what an era in motoring, eh? (This is the chassis Packard tried to deal for to build their all-new '57 full-size models, BTW. Ford declined, claiming they could barely build enough for their own needs. So, we wound up with "PackaBakers" instead!)

This photo is part of a post on The Old Motor all about the 1933 and 1934 Fords and the Century of Progress Expo. We also have a neat photo of a tudor sectioned lengthwise and set up at the expo. See it all on The Old Motor.

Its a Photo F-8 squadron receiving the attention of the Prez. Suspect something from the Cuban Missle crisis. Probably Oceana, Va

I love this picture. I've owned a couple of the cars shown ('62 Impala, 69? Nova, 6x Mustang) driven a couple of others ('67 Malibu, Fishbowl Barracuda, Karrmann-Ghia, and something very like that burgundy Pontiac), and lusted after a few more.

Definitely from the sweet spot in my driving history.
