  9. If the ones Kevin have don't work out I have a set of 4 but they are the older chrome plated plastic type.

BTW,I thought he had them on the rear also,,but the old gray mater ain't what is use to be.:D HRP

I don't depend on my memory 'cause I have a bad case of CRS. Pictures help a lot.

I'm just amazed on how quickly you can do body work and paint.

Gene was here today and saw it in basecoat, I think he left before Chris started spraying the clear. I was busy prepping the frame and rear suspension parts so I'm not sure exactly when he left or if he saw it with clear on it.

Just curious... what Brands did you use for primers, base coat and clear?

Everything was PPG except for the Slicksand primer. Used DP40lf epoxy, Slicksand, PPG K38 high build, can't remember the basecoat (DBC?), and 2021 clear.

I respect that so much, Gene doing his own engine work again. I'm betting it felt real good to get back out in the shop.

Wow, what a thread! The guys who drove those wild Willy's coupes were my dragstrip hero's back in the sixties and early seventies. Nothing looked badder than those cars.My first time trial trip down the strip in a lumbering stocker was opposite a wheelstanding A/G '41 Willys. He lit the win light when I was still at half track.Checked the shifter to make sure it wasn't in neutral or reverse when he took off .... lol !!Godspeed to Gene and all you great fella's bringing the dreams and Moonlighter back to life.
