I had a guy I went to school with trying to convince me he'd bought several vettes (he was offering me one at the time) and he told me they only have a little body rust and just a few dents...

It took a lot to not smack him!

  8. I'm confused on this one--it's got pull-out door handles like a '49 but has the gas filler behind a door on the quarter panel like a '50. I thought '49s had an exposed gas filler cap. Was that a running change late in the '49 model year instead of a change made at the beginning of the '50 model run? Or is this a '50 with '49 doors?

  9. A few years ago, in a place called Bethany, in Manitoba.

...and not a dent on it, I can't believe how straight it is! :D

This sort of thing both amazes and sickens me. I would LOVE to give that Vette a good home, keep it as original as possible....and exersise it regularly :D

Whoah, whats that black sedan in the far? Right in front of that 80's Chevy van?

I Agree on the Vette. Any more info on that? (as in, is it for sale?) That breaks my heart to see. Those cars are amazing, and priced accordingly. Blows my mind it would be just sitting there, almost unwanted by the owners.

  27. ...this was sitting and rotting for years; I just picked it up today, a freebie; I just want the springs/hangers, but I'm keepin the rear bumper and some bed panels for patch panels on stuff, anyone need the rear axle?... has 4 & 1/2 bolt pattern, can anyone identify the year/make?...I just don't recognize it, ..orig. thinkin Ford?, they never had that bolt pattern but rear end could have been replaced, it has newer u-bolts.
